I fell in love with classic cars at an early age as my brother and I rode with my father and grandpa to the car shows around South Georgia. I watched the care and love that the cars were shown as they were polished to perfection. That level of detail followed me through every car and bike that we have restored built. The love and appreciation for vintage cars grew and developed into a love for motorcycles as well. Now I ride as much as I can and love customizing and building bikes. Especially cafe racers.

We settled on the name Cardinal Motoring Company solely because my grandfather, who started our family’s involvement in classic cars loved cardinals and as an ode to him we wanted to include that in our name.

In memory of John Crockett Gray

My wife and son pictured here with me in front of our 1966 Triumph TR4A which we fondly refer to as Vivian. We enjoy working on her as well as taking in the local car shows and events.
